Adrian Rycroft
I am currently the Aircrew Performance Coach for the Royal Air Force’s Typhoon squadrons mainly working on the training unit at RAF Coningsby. Having established, designed and delivered the training for the Aircrew Performance Coaching scheme in 2009 I remain a coaching supervisor for all practicing coaches within the RAF.
Adrian Rycroft is an accredited Executive Coach Supervisor with APECS. He designed and delivered the Royal Air Forces’s European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC ) accredited ‘Aircrew Performance Coaching Scheme’ and has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychology (coaching) from Heriot-Watt University. He is a world recognised expert in Aircrew Performance has lectured in the USA, Europe, China and Pakistan on the subject. As the founder and Head of the Human Performance Training Squadron within the Central Flying School from 2006 to 2013 he also developed and designed the ‘Human Performance for Aircrew Instructors’ and the ‘Foundation Human Factors and Airmanship’ courses. He worked in close partnership with OPP ltd. in developing the MBTI tool for use in aviation and instruction, and published a paper in partnership with EI World on Emotional Intelligence (EI) as an indicator of high performance.
