Carrie Birmingham
I am an executive coach who specialise in clients who feel stuck dn want to be more courageous. I provide a high degree of both challenge and support. I believe we need both if we want to experiment with new ways of working or plan for the future. In this busy world, investing time in coaching can feel indulgent. But without time to think and reflect, we all struggle to make the changes necessary to improve our and our team’s performance.

Coaching with me helps raise awareness, set goals and embed productive habits that will support individuals who want to change. I have in-depth experience of working in challenging and turbulent environments, and so can help people navigate these. My clients describe me as passionate, honest, insightful and fun.
I was previousIy an HR Director, and so I am a commercial and pragmatic thinker, who has run an HR function and sat on the board. In terms of my qualifications that back this up:
I have a Masters in Organisational and People Change, which helps me work with the complexity and change that overwhelms our busy lives.
I am a qualified coach, facilitator, systemic & gestalt practitioner, so I will invite you to look at the habits in how you work, and patterns beyond you to understand what is helping or getting in the way.
I am also qualified to use diagnostic tools (MBTI, OPQ, Voiceprint, Hogan), which we can use to help you understand yourself and avoid blind-spots.
I am an Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner who also uses somatics (physical practices) to develop leadership in both your body and mind.
I am CIPD registered (Chartered Graduate) and so have letters after my name.
...And away from work
I am a keen cook, mother of two dogs (not three dragons!) who loves walking, camping and yoga.
