Dawn Codrington
Dawn is a specialist change practitioner with an extensive background in individual and organisational change spanning 17 years. Her work has spanned diverse sectors and organisations, both nationally and internationally, bringing with it an appreciation of many complex organisational contexts, cultures and realities. She has worked within organisations to senior leadership level and has run her own consultancy business.
As a consultant, accredited executive coach and facilitator, she has developed, enabled and led individuals and teams, at times of high change and transition. Her work focuses on aligning a person centred and business focused approach to change, with developing organisational capability in change at the core. The approach focuses on capacity building at three levels: change facilitation; change management and change leadership
As a qualified and accredited Executive Coach, Dawn has worked extensively with organisational leaders to board level, building their competence and confidence to lead change and maximise the benefits of organisational change programmes and initiatives.
Since 2016 Dawn has worked with Turning Point, a market leading health and social care social enterprise as the Organisational Lead for Change & Transformation, developing and leading an organisational approach to change. The person centred approach has been recognised nationally, and was nominated as a finalist for the HSJ Awards 2019. The development of a Change Leadership Programme for 28 senior leaders was nominated for an internal Inspiring Possibility Award. The change facilitation approach in new services has been externally recognised and validated as ‘best in practice’ by the CQC and Investors in People.
Between 2010 and 2015, her international work with an international NGO and member organisation, developed global women change leaders working across 5 organisational world regions and 146 countries.
Dawn has an MSc in Change from Surrey University with a specialist interest in the self-care of change agents and practitioners. She also has a Post graduate diploma in Coaching and Behavioural Change from Henley Business School and is a Myers Briggs Practitioner and NLP accredited Trainer.
Dawn’s passion is change and working with others to navigate and normalise its’ complexities and ambiguity. She has recently founded The Change Praxis Ltd, a specialist change consultancy born out of passion, insight and necessity. It will combine her expertise and love of working in the field of change to meet the growing need of organisations to develop organisational capability in change.
Building sustainable organisational capability in change and developing the practice and art of change facilitation, management and leadership will be at the core of her future work.
