Judith Martin
As an international APECS Accredited Master Executive Coach, leadership and team coach, and workshop facilitator, my aim is to foster and facilitate personal and business growth, learning, and progress with a focus on developing leadership capacity and transforming performance.
Based in Munich, I work together with senior business leaders, managers and high potential emerging leaders, professionals and teams, providing the challenge and support they need as they navigate their issues and contexts towards achieving their aspirations and desired outcomes. As a thinking partner and dialogue guide, I provide safe, non-judgmental spaces for sense-making, self-reflection, discovery and action-planning – exploratory sessions to generate ideas, co-develop solutions, and gain awareness, insight and clarity.
Specifically, I enable my clients to expand and deepen their thinking and understanding so they can see more of their worlds - the patterns and connections - and their own assumptions and blind spots. I enable them to better handle uncertainty, complexity and change, taking multiple perspectives. And I inspire and encourage them to experiment with new ways of working, being, acting and collaborating, leveraging their best human capacities, such as curiosity, imagination, wisdom, intuition and resourcefulness. I help them adapt, re-invent themselves, build their intercultural IQ, and translate new learning into purposeful action and tangible results.
Originally from Yorkshire, with dual UK-German nationality, and self-employed, I bring a broad, global outlook to my work, together with psychological depth and insight and over 30 years’ direct international experience working in my field, having lived in Germany, Spain, China, Czechoslovakia and England. I draw on experience working cross-sector with diverse commercial enterprises, and experience co-founding and managing a coaching and training company in Barcelona for 15 years. Additionally, I support several humanitarian projects as a volunteer coach.
My Structure & Flow approach combines clear contracting, processes, frameworks, parameters and commitment with agility, spontaneity, creativity, joy and whatever’s emerging. It is adaptive, personalised and practical, and integrates multiple models, methods and disciplines, including adult and leadership development theory. My systemic view integrates the needs of key stakeholders.
I hold an Advanced Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching (2014), a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching (2008), and a Systemic Team Coaching Certificate (2015), from the Academy of Executive Coaching, as well as an Action Learning facilitator certificate, and an MA in adult learning. I am fluent in German and Spanish, and have worked with many clients whose first language is not English.
