My approach to my coaching and supervision practice

Anna is taking on a role focusing on sustainability, building on the work she is already doing in this field with APECS, JGSG and the Climate Coaching Alliance. She will also be leading on Supervision, to build connections with our community of supervisors, exploring what would bring value to these members with opportunities for us to learn from each other and share.

Anna is particularly interested in building connections and relationships, whether using a conceptual frame with clients, or to enhance collaboration and co-creation in communities.  In her practice and her life, she is drawn to nature, walking and growth (for self, plants and people).

What APECS means to me

Since joining APECS as a student member while at Henley, I’ve always found it home to thoughtful and reflective practitioners.  Whether it’s at the in-person community gatherings, the virtual meet-ups or at one of the various workshops, I find it hugely resourcing to participate in and experience the different perspectives and approaches within the membership.  In the last year I’ve co-led a group within APECS exploring the coach’s role in bringing systemic and sustainable thinking to clients, and am also delighted to co-represent APECS at the Joint Global Statement Group on Climate and Ecodiversity Crises (JGSG), a cross-industry initiative representing 13 global coaching bodies.

Examples of coaching work

As an executive coach, I work primarily 121 with established executives and high potential leaders from a wide range of professions, industries, and scales of organisations as they navigate key transition points for themselves, their teams, and their organisations.

As a coach supervisor, I also support coaches through moments of transition and growth for themselves and their practice, helping to explore their coaching identity, ethics and client cases, and their personal and professional development.

My work is inspired by a systems psychodynamic approach and ecological concepts.  I work extensively with clients in and with nature to increase self and systems awareness and gain perspective.
